Chasing a target of 100 runs, India were pushed to the brink by a disciplined New Zealand bowling attack, but a gritty innings from Suryakumar Yadav and a calm and composed knock from Hardik Pandya guided the team to victory. 

 The New Zealand team got off to a poor start, losing wickets at regular intervals and struggling to build any significant partnerships. They were eventually bowled out for a below-par total of 99 runs, with Arshdeep Singh leading the Indian bowling attack with two wickets. 

Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Deepak Hooda, and Washington Sundar also picked up a wicket each. In response, the Indian team also struggled to get going, with the loss of early wickets putting pressure on the middle order.
